Chrissy Teigen’s Daughter Esti, 2, Shows Off Fashion Sense in Mom’s Walk-In Closet

Chrissy Teigen’s two-year-old daughter, Esti, is already proving to have an eye for fashion. The Cravings author gave fans a glimpse inside her luxurious walk-in closet via Instagram Stories on March 4, capturing an adorable moment as Esti helped pick out her outfit.

“These are so pretty,” Esti said, reaching for a pair of white strappy heels among Teigen’s extensive shoe collection. The model and TV personality, 39, asked her daughter to choose between boots or heels, to which Esti excitedly tried on the too-big pumps herself.

After some playful debate, Teigen opted for more practical boots, joking that Esti’s pick might not be ideal for gardening. “Let’s go get some tomatoes,” she quipped while showing off her impeccably organized wardrobe.

While Esti seems to have inherited her mother’s love for fashion, Teigen is focused on ensuring her daughter doesn’t adopt another trait—her tendency to seek approval.

In the debut episode of her Audible podcast, Self-Conscious, Teigen opened up to guest Mel Robbins about her struggles with people-pleasing, getting emotional as she admitted she worries about passing it on to her kids.

“I don’t ever want them to feel like they have to perform for everybody and be good all the time,” said Teigen, who shares four children—Luna, 8, Miles, 6, Esti, and 20-month-old Wren—with husband John Legend.

She continued: “I don’t ever want them to feel like they have to perform for everybody and be good all the time, but I know that sometimes I probably am that way.”

She also touched on the values she hopes to instill in her children, making it clear she’s raising them to be grounded. “I want them to be the most polite,” she said, adding, “I might go harder the other direction to make sure that they don’t come off as ‘celebrity kids.’”
