TMZ reports that she was taken to the hospital on Wednesday, July 10, due to extreme discomfort in her chest. Doctors decided to keep her overnight to run tests and closely monitor her condition.

Sean Combs, who was in Miami at the time, came to the hospital to support his mother. Sources say Diddy has been a source of comfort for Janice during this difficult time. There are suggestions that Janice believes her chest pains are related to the stress from her son’s ongoing legal problems.

Since November 2023, Diddy has faced several allegations of sex trafficking and abuse, starting with claims from his ex-girlfriend, Cassie. These accusations have led Janice Combs to spend more time with her son, offering him support amid these serious issues.

The news of Janice Combs’ hospitalization came the same day Cassie Fine and her legal team criticized Diddy’s recent whitewater rafting trip. Cassie’s lawyer, Douglas Wigdor, said, “I don’t think white water rafting will prepare him for the tough times ahead.”

Ariel Mitchell-Kidd, attorney for Adria English, also criticized Diddy’s carefree attitude. “Seeing Diddy whitewater rafting and flying around on his private plane, seemingly enjoying life despite all the serious accusations against him, makes Mrs. English even more determined to get justice,” Mitchell-Kidd said. “Mrs. English and the other plaintiffs who have sued Diddy are people with limited resources fighting for justice after being mistreated by a billionaire.”
