Elon Musk Forced to Reveal Who Owns X: Here’s the List

Elon Musk has been required to disclose the owners of X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.

This comes as part of a lawsuit from former employees seeking payment for arbitration fees after Musk’s purchase of the platform.

A judge in California ordered the release of nearly 100 investors who have a stake in X. Previously, X kept its investors’ identities secret, calling it standard practice.

Key Investors

The list includes some well-known names like billionaire investor Bill Ackman and rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs.

Ackman, who often uses X to share his views, has a stake through the Pershing Square Foundation, which he co-manages with his wife.

Diddy is linked through Sean Combs Capital, one of his many business ventures.

Larry Ellison, the founder of Oracle, is also on the list.

His stake is held by the Lawrence J. Ellison Revocable Trust. Despite having many followers on X, Ellison has only posted on the platform twice.

Another notable investor is Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who has invested in luxury hotels and tech companies like Lyft.

Other Investors

The documents also reveal investments from several venture capital firms like 8VC, Andreessen Horowitz, and Sequoia Capital.

Individual investors like Danilo Kawasaki and Ross Gerber, who are connected to the investment firm Gerber Kawasaki, are also named.
