Elon Musk, the head of Tesla and SpaceX, has raised concerns about the charity work of MacKenzie Scott, who was once married to Amazon founder Jeff Bezos.

Elon Musk shared a social media post by John LeFevre on X, calling it “concerning.” LeFevre’s post pointed out that not enough people are noticing the effect of Scott’s donations.

He criticized her main focuses, saying she supports equity, creates racial division, and backs illegal immigration.

This isn’t the first time Elon Musk has spoken out against Scott. Earlier, he attacked her for her charitable donations, suggesting they represent a bigger problem.

In March 2024, he said in a deleted post that “‘Super rich ex-wives who hate their former spouse’ should be listed among ‘Reasons that Western Civilization died,’” according to Business Insider.

Despite Musk’s criticism, Scott is continuing her significant charity efforts. She recently announced plans to double her donations this year, aiming to give away all $60 billion she got from her divorce with Bezos in 2019.

Since the divorce, her organization, Yield Giving, has given away over $19 billion to more than 2,450 nonprofits. In 2024 alone, she gave $2 billion to 199 organizations.

These donations help people get better housing, jobs, education, healthcare, and financial advice. They also help with business coaching and loans to help people build wealth. Some of her donations also support human rights and protect natural resources.

Despite giving so much away, Scott is still very wealthy, with an estimated net worth of $30 billion, partly because she got a 4% share of Amazon in her divorce, making her one of the richest women in the world.
