Elon Musk Speaks Out on Son’s Gender Transition and Struggles with ‘Woke Mind Virus’

Elon Musk, CEO of the microblogging platform X, has spoken about his struggles with his son Xavier Alexander’s gender transition.

In April 2022, Xavier, then 18, filed a court request to change his name and gender, choosing to be called Vivian Jenna Wilson. Xavier asked the court to recognize his gender change from male to female, stating, “I no longer live with or wish to be related to my biological father in any way, shape, or form.”

On June 22, 2022, the Santa Monica courthouse in California legally granted Wilson her name and gender change.

In a recent interview with Jordan Peterson, Elon Musk discussed his views on doctors performing sex change procedures on children. The 53-year-old Elon Musk said he was “tricked” into allowing Xavier to take puberty blockers, which are medications used to delay the physical changes of puberty by inhibiting the release of sex hormones.

Musk recounted being told that Xavier might commit suicide if he did not receive the treatment. He described the medication as “incredibly evil” and argued that those promoting it “should be imprisoned.” He expressed his sense of loss over Xavier, who now goes by Vivian Wilson, and vowed to combat what he calls the “woke mind virus.”

“It is evil. You are taking kids who are far below the age of consent. It is very possible for adults to manipulate children who are having an actual identity crisis into believing that they are the wrong gender,” Elon Musk said.

“I was essentially tricked into signing documents for one of my older boys, Xavier, before I had any understanding of what was going on, and during COVID, there was a lot of confusion. I was told Xavier might commit suicide.

It is incredibly evil, and I agree with you that the people promoting this should go to prison. I was tricked into doing this. It wasn’t explained to me that puberty blockers are actually just sterilization drugs.

“I lost my son, essentially. They call it ‘deadnaming’ for a reason. The reason they call it ‘deadnaming’ is because your son is dead, so my son, Xavier, is dead, killed by the woke mind virus. So I vowed to destroy the woke mind virus after that. And we’re making some progress.”

Musk has seven children with Justine Wilson, his first wife, to whom he was married from 2000 to 2008.
