Former NBA Star Glen Davis Faces Lawsuit While Serving Prison Sentence

Former NBA player Glen Davis, currently serving a 40-month prison sentence, finds himself embroiled in legal troubles even behind bars.

Pharmaceutical scientist Dr. Lyndsey White has filed a lawsuit against Davis in Los Angeles, seeking unspecified damages for breach of contract, intentional misrepresentation, among other claims, according to TMZ.

Dr. White alleges that her professional relationship with singer Chris Brown deteriorated due to Davis’s actions. Initially, Davis introduced White to Brown, hoping to broker a deal for a fragrance line.

However, following Glen Davis’s arrest in October 2021 for defrauding the NBA’s Players’ Health and Welfare Benefit Plan, the relationship soured. Davis’s increasingly hostile behavior, including threats, instilled fear in White, causing her to cut ties with Brown and lose a significant business opportunity.

The complaint also details an earlier collaboration between White and Davis on a barbecue sauce venture named “Big Baby Q.” During this period, White lent Davis $30,000 to fund a joint investment in a marijuana business.

Following his legal challenges, Glen Davis allegedly misused these funds to cover his legal expenses and unilaterally sold the barbecue business, depriving White of any profits despite her contributions to the product’s development.

Currently incarcerated at FPC Duluth in Minnesota, Glen Davis faces a nearly three-year term following his 2024 conviction. The lawsuit adds another layer to his mounting legal challenges.

Meanwhile, a recent photo of Glen Davis in prison has been circulating on social media, indicating his ongoing adjustment to life behind bars.
