Jay-Z’s Lawyer Alleges Tony Buzbee Coerced Woman into Filing False Claims Against Diddy

In a developing legal saga, Tony Buzbee, a well-known attorney, has been accused of attempting to persuade a woman to make false allegations against Sean “Diddy” Combs, a claim that involves another high-profile figure, Jay-Z.

The accusation came to light when the woman sought legal representation from Alex Spiro, Jay-Z’s attorney, alleging that Buzbee’s firm had tried to entice her into filing a fraudulent claim against Diddy.

The woman, who initially approached Buzbee’s law firm regarding separate accusations of sex trafficking and abuse, claimed that an associate from Buzbee’s office suggested she anonymously accuse Diddy as well.

She alleged that during her consultations, she was directed to falsely state that she had been forcibly drugged during an encounter, an experience she denies having. After she refused to comply with these directives, the firm reportedly ceased representing her.

Court documents reveal that the woman felt manipulated by Buzbee’s firm, recounting an instance when she was explicitly asked about her interactions with Diddy, despite her insistence that her grievances had no connection to him.

In response to these allegations, Buzbee defended his firm’s integrity, stating, “This is so ridiculous. If someone calls our intake and has a viable case that we believe has merit and we can pursue, we will pursue it. We are currently pursuing hundreds of cases against individuals other than Diddy. What we won’t do is pursue a case that we don’t believe has merit.”

Further complicating the controversy, Buzbee has also accused Jay-Z of inappropriate tactics against his firm. According to statements Buzbee made to Deadline, he alleged that Jay-Z’s team had sent investigators offering his current clients substantial sums to initiate lawsuits against Buzbee’s law firm.

He described this behavior as “reprehensible and illegal,” and hinted at impending legal actions in response to these interventions.

Buzbee also took his grievances to social media, intensifying the dispute’s visibility and adding a layer of public scrutiny to the ongoing legal battle.
