Jonathan Majors Selling $140 Autographs at Famous Monsters Festival Amid Comeback Attempt

Actor Jonathan Majors, best known for his roles in Creed III and as Marvel’s Kang the Conqueror, is offering autographs for $140 during his appearance at the Famous Monsters Festival. This comes as he tries to rebuild his career after being convicted of reckless assault and harassment following an argument with his ex-girlfriend.
Majors will meet with fans at the event on Sunday, Sept. 15, where he will also sell professional photos for $160, according to The Hollywood Reporter. He will be joined by other stars like Star Trek legend George Takei, KISS drummer Peter Criss, Lord of the Rings star Andy Serkis, and others.
Despite the controversy from his domestic violence case, Majors is confident in his star appeal, charging $40 more for his autograph than Serkis, who played Gollum. Majors’ appearance at the festival is just two days after he begins complying with a court order to attend a 52-week domestic violence intervention program.
In December, Majors was sentenced to complete the program, attend mental health counseling, and provide updates to the court. While some feel the punishment fits the crime, others believe his fall from being a top Hollywood actor is too harsh.
Fans have shown support for Majors on social media. When Famous Monsters Fest posted a video confirming his attendance, one fan wrote, “Bro, it sucks what happened. This guy seems like a genuinely good guy who got himself in a bad position.” Another added, “He got railroaded.”
Many fans have also called for Disney to bring Majors back as Kang in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After Majors lost his Marvel role, reports suggest Disney rehired Robert Downey Jr. to play Dr. Victor von Doom for over $80 million in two films. Additionally, Majors’ 2023 movie Magazine Dreams was dropped by Searchlight Pictures after the legal troubles surfaced.
