Justin Bieber ‘Shocked and Disturbed’ by Diddy’s Arrest on Sex-Trafficking Charges, Cuts Ties with the Outside World

Justin Bieber is reportedly deeply disturbed by the arrest of music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs on sex-trafficking charges. Sources close to Bieber claim the singer has isolated himself from the public, struggling to process the news of Combs’ indictment, which alleges years of coercion, abuse, and violence to control victims.
Combs, 54, was arrested in New York earlier this week, facing serious charges including blackmail, violence, and the orchestration of drug-fueled sex parties, referred to as “Freak Offs,” involving both female victims and male sex workers. According to the indictment, these events sometimes spanned several days.
An insider shared that Justin Bieber, who has collaborated with Combs in the past, is devastated by the revelations. “So many people who played a part in his rise to fame were closely associated with Diddy, and this news has shaken him,” the source revealed. “Justin hasn’t spoken publicly since the home raids and is unlikely to.”
The source also indicated that Bieber regrets his recent professional collaboration with Combs. Last year, the pop star featured on Combs’ 2023 album, The Love Album: Off the Grid, but had he known of the allegations, Bieber would never have participated.
“He distanced himself from Diddy for a long time, and most of this reportedly took place during that period,” the source explained. “He would not have contributed to the album if he had known.”
Justin Bieber and Combs’ relationship dates back to Bieber’s early career. The pop star was just a teenager when they forged a friendship. Reflecting on their connection, Bieber shared a nostalgic Instagram post after the album’s release, recalling his first attempt to pitch a song to Combs at age 14. “The song was trash,” Bieber joked, adding that it was a “hard no” from Combs.
However, the two reconnected years later when Combs invited Bieber to freestyle on his latest project. “It was a wild full circle moment,” Justin Bieber wrote in October. But now, with Combs facing these allegations, that “moment” has taken on a darker significance.
The shock surrounding Combs’ arrest has resurfaced old videos of him and Bieber. In one video, taken when Bieber was 15, Combs can be seen boasting about spending 48 hours with the young star, saying they were doing things that couldn’t be disclosed publicly.
Another clip shows Combs asking a 16-year-old Bieber why they weren’t as close as before, with the pop star appearing uncomfortable as he explained that he hadn’t received Combs’ calls.
Combs, who pleaded not guilty in court, was denied bail despite his legal team’s request for a $50 million release under electronic monitoring. Prosecutors allege that Combs used his power and fame to manipulate women into abusive situations under the guise of romantic relationships, leading to the orchestrated sex performances known as “Freak Offs.”
The indictment outlines a pattern of coercive behavior, with some “Freak Offs” lasting for days and involving excessive drug use, leaving participants in need of IV fluids to recover. Combs’ attorney, Marc Agnifilo, has claimed these events were part of his client’s on-again-off-again relationship with singer Cassie, denying the coercive nature of the gatherings.
As investigators continue to interview more victims and witnesses—over 50 at the time of reporting—the scale of the case against Combs continues to grow. For Justin Bieber, the ordeal has left him grappling with his past associations, as he distances himself from the man who was once a close collaborator and mentor.
