Kamala Harris Questions Trump’s Mental Fitness After Bizarre Town Hall Performance

Kamala Harris criticized Donald Trump’s mental fitness for office on Tuesday after a strange moment during his televised town hall. With the U.S. presidential election just three weeks away, Harris’s campaign has focused more on Trump’s health and mental stability. After the event, Harris’s team quickly said Trump seemed “lost, confused, and frozen on stage.”
The event, held Monday in Oaks, Pennsylvania, started normally with Trump answering questions about the economy. But after two medical emergencies in the crowd, things took a strange turn. Instead of continuing the discussion, Trump decided to play music for 39 minutes, awkwardly dancing and swaying on stage.
“Who wants to hear questions, right?” Trump joked as he ended the Q&A session early. He then had his team play music, ranging from opera to Guns N’ Roses and Elvis. Trump danced and stood still, staring into the audience, during the unusual break.
Harris responded on social media, saying, “Hope he’s okay,” in a dry comment. Her campaign is using moments like this to question Trump’s fitness as Election Day nears.
The following day, Trump held another rally in Atlanta, arriving 90 minutes late. He didn’t mention the previous night’s strange performance or the criticism. Instead, he stuck to his usual speech about illegal immigration and repeated some of his false claims about migrant crime in states like Colorado and Ohio.
Trump also made some off-topic comments, calling the two world wars “beautiful” and claiming he invented the word “caravan.” He then talked about his wealthy friends and President Joe Biden, saying, “I have a lot of rich friends. They go here. They go there. They’re boring as hell… They put on their bathing suit. They don’t look much better than Biden.”
Polls show a close race between Harris and Trump, with swing states likely deciding the election. Trump is the oldest person ever nominated for president, and his health is becoming a bigger issue, especially after Joe Biden dropped out following a bad debate performance.
While Trump hasn’t released a recent health report, Harris has used this to criticize him. In an interview with radio host Charlamagne tha God, Harris repeated her concerns about Trump’s rallies and behavior, calling him “weak and unfit.” She also brought up a past claim that people were leaving Trump’s rallies early, which angered Trump during their September debate.
Earlier that day, Trump spoke at the Economic Club of Chicago, where he pushed for higher tariffs on countries like Mexico to bring jobs back to the U.S. “To me, the most beautiful word in the dictionary is tariff,” Trump said.
As the election approaches, Harris is focusing on Trump’s age and mental fitness, while Trump sticks to his usual style, leaving voters to decide who they think is fit to lead the country.
