Kenya Moore’s role in “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 16 is uncertain, but her friend and former cast member Kandi Burruss is defending her. Reports say Moore, who has been on the show since Season 5, was suspended during the filming of Season 16.
This happened because she’s accused of sharing controversial images of new cast member Brittany Eady.
Eady posted on social media about revenge porn being a crime, while Moore says she did nothing wrong.
“I don’t like the fact that they suspended Kenya. I know a lot of people were like, She shouldn’t have shown that’ but this is housewives,” Burruss said during an interview with Streetz 94.5’s Streetz Morning Takeover.
“How many times we done did something that you think somebody shouldn’t do? So who made the rules? Why do you all of a sudden got such an issue with somebody doing something crazy to somebody?” Burruss also said the alleged images in question of Eady were already searchable online.
“We’ve all done things that others might think are wrong. So who makes the rules? Why is there suddenly such a big problem with someone doing something shocking?” Burruss also mentioned that the images of Eady were already on the internet.
Kandi Burruss thinks that drama like this is normal on a show like RHOA, where people often react strongly to each other. “If it was on the internet and the girl came at her, then it’s like ‘okay well.’ You can’t decide how she reacts. But we’ll see what happens when the episode airs,” she said.
Moore has denied being involved in revenge porn. On Instagram, she responded to a fan, saying, “No one credible, including my employer, has confirmed anything. So everyone is running with false claims and stories. Patience and due process are important,” according to Bossip.
