Kanye West Proclaims Himself the "Ultimate GOAT" in Light of Yeezy's Success

Kanye West, known for his unapologetic self-confidence and innovative spirit, recently claimed a bold new title for himself following the success of his Yeezy brand. The 47-year-old rapper, on a now-deleted Instagram post, boasted about Yeezy’s financial achievements, revealing that his clothing brand generated $2,339,096 in revenue in 2024.

His post was straightforward and brash: “I don’t collab. No paid ads. I am the Yon. Yeezy over everything. If you design and don’t work at Yeezy close your dirty a** laptop and go to bed.”

Kanye West didn’t stop there. In a follow-up post, he elevated himself to unprecedented heights, declaring, “THE GOAT OF ALL GOATS OF ANY GOAT THAT WAS EVER GOATED,” asserting his dominance across multiple domains, including rap, production, and fashion design.

Kanye continued with his characteristic flair, “YOUR FAVORITE GOATS FAVORITE GOAT. YOUR DADS DAD TELL YA MOM YOU GOT A NEW DAD […] THEY TOLD YOU I WAS DEAD BROKE CLONED DO THIS SOUND LIKE A CLONE I DONT TAKE ADVICE I GIVE IT I DO AND SAY WHAT THE FUCK I WANNA SAY WHEN I WANNA SAY HOW I WANNA SAY WHENEVER I WANNA SAY IT.”

Despite the controversies that often surround him, West’s posts reflect his knack for remaining in the spotlight, blending provocation with humor.

Kanye even referenced his infamous 2005 Grammys speech, joking, “EVERYBODY WANTED TO KNOW WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF YE NEVER GOT MONEY AGAIN I GUESS WE’LL NEVER FKING KNOOOOW WE’LL NEVER EVER EVER FKING KNOOOOOOOW.”

In another bold move, West posted a picture of a dirty laptop, directly challenging other brands and designers, “To be specific Any brand other than Yeezy Fk you,” he declared. “Close your dirty a laptops.”

This post mirrored his recent fallout with Adidas. He expressed his frustration with the brand in another now-deleted post, after discovering that Adidas’ website appeared before his YZY site in a Google search.

Kanye West accused Adidas of trying to hold him back even after their partnership had ended, “Members at adidas Stop doing this Stop doing your moves to hold me back,” insisting that despite financial setbacks, “Now I’m back on my feet (no pun intended) and I’m not going to stand for this (no pun again).”

Adidas has since removed Yeezy products from their website, a move that was already in the pipeline according to Adidas CEO Bjorn Gulden as of October 2024.
