Lawyer Anticipates Over 10 New Lawsuits Against Diddy in the Near Future

Sean “Diddy” Combs is set to face over 10 new civil lawsuits within the next few days, as announced by Tony Buzbee, an attorney representing several accusers. This surge of legal challenges adds to the embattled rapper’s mounting legal issues, which already include federal charges of racketeering and sex trafficking.
Buzbee, who recently filed a lawsuit in New York on behalf of an unnamed 23-year-old male, alleges that Diddy assaulted the young man in 2015. According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff was performing at an event attended by Combs in hopes of securing a deal with Bad Boy Records, the label founded by Combs.
The suit claims that the accuser was drugged at an afterparty and subsequently assaulted.
A spokesperson for Diddy has yet to respond to these latest allegations, though the rapper has previously denied similar accusations vehemently.
The new lawsuit details that the accuser was invited to perform at a Los Angeles area nightclub where Combs was present. He was reportedly told by Combs’ associate that the rapper had taken an interest in his talent and would observe his performance, hinting at a potential record deal.
After what the plaintiff believed was a successful performance, he was invited to an afterparty. It was there, the lawsuit alleges, that he was handed a drink said to be from Combs and shortly after felt lightheaded and lost consciousness.
The plaintiff claims that upon regaining awareness intermittently, he witnessed Diddy and others engaging in what appeared to be group sexual activities with individuals who seemed drugged or unconscious.
The lawsuit further alleges that the plaintiff awoke to find himself being assaulted by Diddy and that when he attempted to leave, he was threatened by Combs’ security and Combs himself, who purportedly threatened to ruin his career prospects.
With the looming deadline of March 1 in New York, which marks the end of a law allowing victims of past sexual assaults to file civil lawsuits regardless of the statute of limitations, Buzbee stated his intent to file additional lawsuits against Combs.
Currently, Combs faces more than 30 civil lawsuits alleging sexual assault and misconduct and remains in a New York jail as he awaits trial on federal charges. The legal saga continues to unfold, casting a long shadow over the once-celebrated music mogul’s career.
