Mary J. Blige Reveals Upcoming Album and 2025 Tour Featuring Ne-Yo and Mario

Mary J. Blige, the celebrated Queen of Hip-Hop Soul, has just announced her new album, “Gratitude,” set to release on November 15. This comes two years after her album “Good Morning Gorgeous,” which was nominated for a Grammy.

Blige is not only releasing a new album but is also planning to tour again. Her ‘For My Fans’ tour, featuring artists Ne-Yo and Mario, will start in January 2025.

Blige talked about these updates on the talk show “Sherri,” hosted by Sherri Shepherd. When Shepherd asked about the meaning behind the title “Gratitude,” Blige spoke about feeling grateful for her life, including her health, job opportunities, supportive family, and loving fans.

When host Sherri Shepherd asked what gratitude meant for her, the singer expressed, “I mean, look at my life right now. I’m in a constant state of gratitude. I feel good. I have jobs and opportunities. I’m healthy. My family’s healthy. I have people around that care for me and love me and I have amazing fans for all the years of love and support that they’ve given me.”

In an earlier interview with PEOPLE, Blige mentioned that “Gratitude” might be her last studio album. However, on the show, she seemed unsure, suggesting it might or might not be her final album.

Blige also expressed a deep thanks to her fans on Twitter, explaining that the upcoming tour is a way to show her appreciation. According to Ticketmaster, the tour will stop in big cities like New York City, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, St. Louis, Toronto, and Washington D.C. The full tour schedule has yet to be released.

Additionally, Blige discussed her recent induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, the last season of “Power Book II: Ghost,” and the 30th anniversary of her album “My Life,” highlighting an active and reflective time in her career.
