Meek Mill Puts Up $100K to Clear His Name in Diddy Investigation

After Sean “Diddy” Combs’ recent arrest, rapper Meek Mill is offering $100,000 to fund an investigation to clear his name from any false claims related to the case. Meek Mill is upset that his name has been dragged into the situation by the media and on social media.
“I’m ready to spend $100,000 to hire an investigation team to find out exactly how my name got involved in the ‘Diddy’ case,” Meek posted on X (formerly known as Twitter) on Monday, Sept. 24.
He’s also eager to find out who’s spreading the stories. “I want them to figure out who is behind the media stories about ‘Meek’ and anything related to this case. Something feels off,” he added.
Meek Mill made it clear that he’s not worried about what people from the streets think of him, but rather how his name is being used in business. “People from the streets know the truth about me. This isn’t about that—it’s about business.
Someone is backing these negative stories about me. I’m offering $100,000 for a thorough investigation into who’s responsible and how my name got involved,” he said.
He also criticized the media, saying he won’t let them control the story. “Fake news outlets are spreading these stories. I have around 100 million followers worldwide. I won’t let the media silence my voice! I’ve got kids watching me from places like Africa and the UK,” he said.
This all started from a lawsuit filed by producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones against Diddy. Jones claimed that Diddy had a physical relationship with a “Philadelphia rapper who dated Nicki Minaj.” Since Meek Mill dated Nicki Minaj from 2015 to 2017, some people assumed he was the rapper in question. Meek has strongly denied these rumors.
Because of Meek Mill’s public friendship with Diddy, some people fueled the rumors, while others joked about the situation and questioned the rappers’ sexuality, which Meek has firmly rejected.
Before offering the $100,000 to clear his name, Meek Mill had just released his new single “ROBBIE SON,” the first song fully owned by his label, Dream Chaser Records. Despite the controversy, Meek Mill is focused on defending his reputation and continuing his music career.
