Megan Thee Stallion Shows Proof While Filing Restraining Order Against Tory Lanez

Megan Thee Stallion has filed for another restraining order against Tory Lanez, citing ongoing harassment despite his current imprisonment, as detailed in a recent legal filing.

Lanez, legally known as Daystar Peterson, was convicted in 2022 for shooting Megan, whose real name is Megan Pete, in the foot during an incident in 2020. He is presently serving a 10-year sentence.

The filing accuses Lanez of continuing to inflict psychological distress on Megan by orchestrating a campaign of defamation and indirect harassment through third parties, even while behind bars. The legal documents refer to this as “psychological warfare,” alleging that Lanez has mobilized his supporters to undermine Megan’s reputation and character.

“In these prison calls, Mr. Peterson’s father—when he thought no one was listening— asked his son about payments to Ms. Cooper for her harassment of Ms. Pete: ‘How are they ever going to prove something like that?’” Mr. Peterson responded, ‘Exactly,’ ” the filing against Cooper states.

Moreover, reports suggest that Megan’s legal team has obtained evidence supporting her claims, including transaction records between Lanez’s father and a blogger accused of disseminating false information about her.

“Despite being sentenced to 10 years in prison for shooting Ms. Pete, Mr. Peterson continues to subject her to repeated trauma and revictimization,” the filing alleges.

This evidence points to a concerted effort to tarnish her public image, which Megan describes as a “conspiracy” aimed at perpetuating hostility towards her.

This legal struggle emerges as Lanez seeks to appeal his conviction on multiple charges, including assault with a semiautomatic firearm, adding another layer of complexity to the ongoing legal drama between the two artists. Megan hopes the restraining order will provide a measure of relief from the continuous harassment attributed to Lanez.
