Melania Trump Defends Nude Modeling in New Video for Her Upcoming Memoir

Former First Lady Melania Trump has spoken out in support of her past nude modeling work in a video promoting her upcoming memoir. The 45-second video, posted on X (formerly Twitter), shows Trump standing up against criticism and defending her decision to celebrate the human body through art.

In the video, Trump questions why the media has focused so much on her modeling career. “Why has the media chosen to scrutinize my celebration of the human form in a fashion photo shoot?” she asks. She also questions whether society has lost the ability to appreciate the beauty of the human body.

The video does not include her modeling photos but instead shows famous nude statues and artworks, highlighting the artistic value of the human form.

Trump started her modeling career as a teenager after being discovered by a Slovenian photographer at age 16. She signed with a modeling agency in Milan and later worked in Paris before moving to New York in 1996. Over the years, she has appeared on the covers of several magazines, including a nude shoot for GQ in 2000.

“We should honor our bodies and embrace the timeless tradition of using art as a powerful way to express ourselves,” Trump says in the video, which then shows the cover of her upcoming memoir, Melania.

The book is set to be released on October 8 and will share “stories and images never before shared with the public,” according to her website. It will cover key moments from her childhood, her relationship with Donald Trump, and her time as First Lady.

Trump has been active on social media recently, mainly to promote her memoir. Four days ago, she posted another video where she talked about the FBI’s 2022 raid on Mar-a-Lago, her home in Florida, as part of an investigation into her husband’s possession of classified documents.

“I never imagined my privacy would be invaded by the government here in America,” she said. “The FBI raided my home and searched through my personal belongings. This is not just my story, it’s a warning to all Americans that our rights must be respected.”

In another video, Trump spoke about a failed assassination attempt on her husband during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania in July, urging viewers to “uncover the truth.” Both videos also promote her upcoming book.

Melania Trump, who was born and raised in Slovenia, started dating Donald Trump in 1998. The couple married in 2005, and she became a U.S. citizen in 2006.
