The operation was conducted by the CCSO Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit in collaboration with the Northeast Florida INTERCEPT Task Force.

According to CCSO, during the search warrant, the occupants came out of the home and were detained. As the home was processed for evidence, the occupants were interviewed by ICAC detectives and the Department of Children and Family Services.

As a result of the investigation, detectives found probable cause to arrest Browne, one of the home’s occupants, for custodial sexual battery.

The investigation led to the discovery of sufficient evidence to charge Browne with custodial sexual battery. The Clay County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation into the matter.

Browne was booked into the Clay County jail, and his bond was set at $500,003.

The investigation is still ongoing.
