Mike Tyson Tells Funny Stories About Giving Away Bentleys to Avoid Trouble

During his prime as a heavyweight boxing champion, Mike Tyson was known for his extraordinary generosity, often giving away expensive cars like Bentleys. This lavish lifestyle was partly fueled by his immense wealth, with millions earned per fight.

According to Finaruh, Mike Tyson, a Brooklyn-born cannabis enthusiast and legendary boxer, admitted to giving away Bentleys to avoid trouble. In a 2019 interview with comedian and podcast host Joe Rogan, Mike Tyson shared a story about giving a Bentley to someone involved in a car accident with his then-wife, Robin Givens.

Tyson recounted owning several Bentleys but confessed to giving some away. He explained that one incident occurred because of an altercation with Givens.

“I was married to Robin Givens at the time, and we were at a fast food place. She went into my pocket for money and found some condoms. She got mad, got in the car, and crashed into another parked car, injuring someone. The cops came, and I didn’t have a license. I didn’t want Givens to get in trouble, so I told the officers that ‘nothing happened,’” Tyson said.

The injured person had a broken arm, and to avoid legal trouble, Tyson offered him the Bentley, which the man accepted.

Another Bentley Story

In another interview on DJ Vlad’s channel, Ed Lover shared a story about receiving a Bentley from Tyson. He recounted hanging out with Tyson at a club in Queens, New York. After Tyson bought out the bar and enjoyed the evening, he gave Lover a Bentley to return to Manhattan. Lover drove the car for several weeks until Tyson’s manager contacted him to retrieve the vehicle.

Fifteen years later, Lover ran into Tyson again. Tyson revealed that he had intended to gift the Bentley to Lover, but the manager, out of jealousy, took it back. Lover acknowledged that he had driven the car as if it were his, unaware of the manager’s interference.
