Rihanna recently gave a playful response when asked about attending one of P. Diddy’s parties. On Wednesday (Oct. 2), as she was leaving an event, a paparazzo asked if she had ever been to any of Diddy’s parties.
She ignored the first question, but when they followed up with, “Were you involved in any of the ‘freak offs’?” she couldn’t help but smile and responded with a quick, “That’s crazy,” before getting into her car.
While Rihanna has been seen at events with Diddy before, she’s not the only celebrity who’s faced questions about his famous parties. Rapper Joe Budden addressed similar rumors last month on his podcast, saying, “Take me off the list of people you think were at these parties. I’m not involved.”
He explained that while he joked about it in the past, he wants people to stop linking him to it now.
Miami rapper Trick Daddy also responded to rumors about attending Diddy’s parties, saying during an Instagram Live, “I’mma slap anyone who asks me about going to those parties. That’s not my scene.”
Rumors about Diddy’s parties have swirled for years, with allegations that drugs and questionable behavior were involved. Some reports claim that women were drugged and forced into uncomfortable situations during these events, which were allegedly recorded.
“For the last time, can y’all take me off the list of names that y’all think is on these tapes,” he said in a September episode. “I ran the jokes long but I thought the joke was a joke because of who I be. Clearly it’s a new crop of people out there that don’t know who I be, so they like, ‘Oh, he might be that.’ I ain’t. No more jokes.”
While these claims remain controversial, many in the hip-hop world, like Rihanna, Budden, and Trick Daddy, have clearly distanced themselves from any involvement.
