Music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs faces new allegations in a lawsuit filed by fashion designer Bryana “Bana” Bongolan, who claims he dangled her from a 17th-floor balcony during a 2016 altercation.

The lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles, is the latest in a string of over two dozen accusations against Combs, including claims of sexual assault, physical violence, drugging, and witness intimidation.

The incident allegedly occurred at the apartment of Combs’ then-girlfriend, singer Casandra “Cassie” Ventura. According to the lawsuit, Bongolan was staying at Ventura’s home when Diddy arrived, banging on the door and demanding entry.

After gaining access, Diddy allegedly confronted Bongolan, who was on the balcony, and molested her before lifting her over the ledge and dangling her above the ground.

Bongolan, who weighed approximately 100 pounds at the time, claimed she fought back desperately to avoid being dropped but was overpowered. The lawsuit states that Ventura intervened, prompting Combs to pull Bongolan back onto the balcony, slamming her onto patio furniture.

A representative for Combs denied the allegations in a statement to the BBC, calling them baseless. “Anyone has the right to file a lawsuit, regardless of the evidence they may or may not have,” the statement said. It added that Combs “remains confident in the judicial process” and that the truth would vindicate him.

Combs is currently facing federal charges related to a racketeering and sex trafficking scheme and has been denied bail three times. He is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Lawsuit Seeks $10 Million in Damages

Bongolan’s lawsuit seeks $10 million in damages, alleging the balcony incident was part of a broader pattern of “threats, intimidation, and violence” during her professional relationship with Combs. She claims the abuse began when Combs approached her to collaborate on projects such as a clothing line and album artwork.

Bongolan says she still does not know what provoked the alleged attack. The lawsuit describes her experiences as “terror and abuse” that escalated over time.

The allegations in Bongolan’s lawsuit bear similarities to claims made by Ventura in a separate 2023 lawsuit against Combs. Ventura’s suit, which was settled a day after it was filed, also alleged abuse, including an episode where Combs reportedly dangled another friend over a balcony.

Combs has faced mounting legal challenges in recent years, with over two dozen lawsuits accusing him of various forms of misconduct. Despite denying all allegations, his legal troubles have cast a shadow over his career and legacy as one of the music industry’s most influential figures.

The new allegations add to an increasingly complex legal battle for the artist, whose next court appearance has yet to be scheduled.
