Travis Scott Breaks Ticket Sales Record with Circus Maximus Tour

Travis Scott has once again proven his unstoppable success in the world of rap, breaking new records with his latest Circus Maximus Tour. Even though the tour started off slow in October 2023, with ticket demand dropping as low as $7 on resale, Scott has turned things around in a big way.

According to Complex, the tour has sold over 1.5 million tickets, setting a record for the biggest rap tour in recent years. Travis Scott also became the first solo rapper to sell out two major U.S. stadiums—MetLife Stadium in New Jersey and SoFi Stadium in California.

In Australia, he broke another record at Allianz Stadium in Sydney, where 41,811 fans came to see him perform in a single show. Across two nights, almost 79,000 people attended his performances at the venue.

While the final earnings for the tour haven’t been released yet, reports suggest that Travis Scott has already made more than $155 million, with more shows still to come. This puts him on track to join top rappers like Drake, Kendrick Lamar, and 50 Cent, all of whom have earned over $100 million from a single tour.

For comparison, Drake’s tour earned $216 million, Kendrick Lamar’s made $111 million, and 50 Cent’s brought in $103 million.

Despite the slow start, Scott’s Circus Maximus Tour has been a huge success. His next big show is set for ComplexCon in Las Vegas this November, where he’ll continue his record-breaking streak.
