Trump’s Border Czar to Selena Gomez: ‘Where Are Your Tears for Sex Trafficked Children?’

Tom Homan, the border czar, challenged singer and actress Selena Gomez about her emotional response to the Trump administration’s deportation efforts, asking where her concern is for the many Americans affected by fentanyl smuggling from across the southern border.

During a segment on “Hannity,” Homan highlighted the personal tragedies faced by families of victims killed by illegal immigrants and the plight of half a million children sex trafficked into the U.S.

Selena Gomez had previously shared a video on Instagram, now deleted, where she tearfully spoke about the impact of nationwide U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids targeting illegal immigrants involved in crimes. She expressed her helplessness and commitment to help those affected.

The discussion comes as ICE intensifies its operations under President Donald Trump’s directives, with more than 1,100 arrests reported on a single Monday, marking the ongoing crackdown’s escalation.

“Plus, [the] overdose of fentanyl is going to drop. Illegal alien crime is going to drop. Sex trafficking of women and children is going to drop. It’s worth the investment,” he stressed. “It’s a one-time cost to secure this nation and make America safe again.”

Homan emphasized on Fox News that these efforts are crucial for reducing crimes like drug overdoses, illegal alien crimes, and sex trafficking, viewing it as a necessary investment to secure national safety.

Trump’s recent actions include signing multiple executive orders shortly after his inauguration, categorizing cartels as foreign terrorist organizations, and declaring a national emergency at the southern border.

Homan lauded these moves, expressing confidence in Trump’s plans to dismantle criminal cartels and significantly curb illegal activities at the border.
