Wendy Williams, the famous TV host, attended her son’s college graduation on December 19, showing great courage despite her health problems.
Wendy Williams, who is dealing with early-onset dementia, went to Florida International University in Miami to watch her son, Kevin Hunter Jr., graduate. She was with her 93-year-old father, Thomas Williams Sr., and her sister, Wanda Finnie.
At the graduation, Williams was seen in an electric wheelchair, dressed up in a sparkly dress, Chanel shoes, and carrying a Louis Vuitton purse. It was a touching moment as she shed tears watching her only child receive his degree in Economics.
This rare public appearance comes after Wendy Williams stepped back from the spotlight due to her health issues, including dementia and aphasia.
These health problems became public through a legal fight about a documentary made by Lifetime TV that shared her struggles with health, money, and addiction. Her legal team is now asking that all money made from this documentary be used to help with her medical expenses.
Despite her health challenges, WendybWilliams’ team says she still enjoys jokes and is getting the right care to help her live as well as possible. Her being there for her son’s big day shows her strong will to be part of important family events despite her health struggles.
