Israel Orders “Powerful Strikes” on Tehran After Accusing Iran of Violating Ceasefire

Hours after some people had been hoping on a peaceful Middle East, Israel Defence Minister, Israel Katz has accused Iran of breaching a ceasefire made by U.S. President Donald Trump and Qatar. The deal was to conclude an end to close to two weeks of violence that has rocked the society in the two countries.
Katz said in an early Tuesday statement that he had instructed the Israel Defense Forces to act with severity against Iran, pointing to the latter violating the ceasefire of heavy hits on the regime targets deep in the Tehran heart.
The declaration was made a few minutes after Israeli authorities indicated missiles fired on Iranian soil. Up to this report, the Iranian authorities have remained silent over the accusation.
To inhabitants of the two countries, the ceasefire had been a sigh of relief after nights of fear and uncertainty. BBC Persian correspondents explained one of the most distressing nights of the conflict in Tehran when the families hid and waited to hear news.
Meanwhile, deaths in the recent spate of violence have claimed four citizens in Israel according to officials. Iran previously promised to abide by the truce on the condition that Israel would do so, a shaky wish that seems to be going down the drain.
This is happening after a series of tit-for-tat strikes between the U.S. and Iran whereby Iran recently fired up a U.S. airbase in retaliation of air strikes on nuclear plants in Iran.
Qatari authorities said that all the missiles attacking the U.S. base were intercepted. The fight is still on, both governments are pressurised by the citizens who have already spent days in a state of uncertainty and losses.
With the world watching and fears of an imminent or imminent de-escalation, the communities on both sides are holding their breath and hoping that things will quiet down and the lives will go back to normal again.
It is likely to progress next since the words of the leaders of Israel and Iran are anticipated.
