Trey Songz Accused of Assaulting Cameraman in New York Nightclub Incident

R&B singer Trey Songz is facing new allegations of assault after a cameraman claimed he was physically attacked by the artist during an event in Huntington, New York. The incident, which reportedly occurred on July 13 at The Ivy nightclub, was partially captured on video and shared with TMZ.

According to the cameraman, Isaa Mansoor, he had been hired by the venue owner to document the event, where Songz, whose real name is Tremaine Neverson, was scheduled to perform.

Tensions reportedly escalated when Songz was taking photos in front of The Ivy’s logo and was soon surrounded by fans seeking pictures. Video footage shows the singer knocking Mansoor’s camera to the ground amid the commotion.

Mansoor alleges that Songz became aggressive, punching him in the side of the head, slamming him against a wall, and damaging two of his cameras. The venue owner reportedly intervened, only for Songz to respond angrily and confront him with a clenched fist. After the altercation, Mansoor called the police and filed a report, launching an official investigation.

Mansoor later sought medical treatment at a local emergency room, where he underwent a CT scan and X-rays. He claims to have suffered a concussion, a severe migraine, and ankle pain, all requiring medication.

This incident adds to a series of legal challenges for Songz. Earlier this year, a civil trial was set for March 2026 related to a 2021 incident in Las Vegas, in which Songz and his security team are accused of assault after an alleged confrontation at The Cosmopolitan hotel. Songz is expected to testify in his own defense in that ongoing case.

Representatives for Trey Songz have not yet commented on the latest allegations.
