Throughout the night, with multiple outfit changes, Taraji P. Henson encouraged the audience to learn about “Project 2025.” This conservative plan, created by the Heritage Foundation in 2022, includes policies and potential leaders for a future Republican presidency, especially if Donald J. Trump wins again.

Taraji stressed the need to understand these proposals and the importance of voting in the next elections.

She made sure the evening was not only informative but also full of fun, promoting love and unity at this big cultural event. Everyone loves Taraji for how down-to-earth and relatable she is.

Taraji first got famous for her role as Yvette in the 2001 movie “Baby Boy” directed by John Singleton. This role showed off her acting skills and set her up for a successful career. She got even more praise and her first Oscar nomination for playing Queenie in “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” in 2008.

Besides acting, Taraji is also a singer and has sung in movies, like in “Hustle & Flow.” She has written a book about her life called “Around the Way Girl,” sharing stories from her early days to becoming a star. She also works to help people understand more about mental health through her foundation, named after her late father.

Taraji’s journey to fame wasn’t easy. She went to Howard University for theatre arts, worked several jobs to take care of her son, and kept pushing until she made it in Hollywood. Her story shows how hard work and determination can lead to success.

Diddy’s recent work, “The Love Album: Off the Grid,” is up for Album of The Year, while his collaboration with Teyana Taylor, “Closer To God,” is being considered for Song of the Year.

Furthermore, his cameo in the music video for “Creepin,” a track by Metro Boomin featuring 21 Savage and The Weeknd, has earned him a BET nomination for Video of The Year.

The first round of voting is slated to end on Tuesday, May 7, with studios, record labels, and managers having the ability to submit nominations.

“The Love Album,” released on September 15, 2023, didn’t garner widespread acclaim but drew attention due to its star-studded guest list, including Justin Bieber, The Weeknd, Mary J. Blige, Herb Alpert, John Legend, and Burna Boy.

However, the album’s release was overshadowed by legal issues. Just a week after receiving two Grammy Award nominations, Diddy, also known as Sean Combs, was hit with a sexual abuse lawsuit filed by ex-partner and label singer Cassie Ventura.

The album would later lose to SZA’s “SOS.”

The lawsuit with Ventura, which was quickly settled, marked the beginning of a series of legal troubles for Diddy.

He is currently facing multiple lawsuits, including one alleging that he, along with former Bad Boy Records president Harve Pierre and another man, transported a minor from Michigan to New Jersey and then to a New York studio where she was sexually assaulted.

In addition, Diddy’s residences in Miami and Los Angeles were raided by Homeland Security as part of a federal investigation into allegations of sexual trafficking involving Diddy and his son Christian, aged 26.

Representatives for Diddy have declined to comment on these matters.
