Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson continues to build his media empire, announcing the launch of his 50 Cent Action channel on Pluto TV. The expansion, which took place on the rapper’s 50th birthday, comes just weeks after the channel’s successful debut on Prime Video in the United Kingdom.
Jackson took to social media to share the news with fans, writing, “What better way to celebrate my 50th than with another big drop. You can now watch @50CentAction for FREE on @plutotv!”
The action-themed streaming channel, created in partnership with Lionsgate, features a curated selection of movies and TV shows chosen by 50 Cent himself. All content on the channel is free for viewers. “I’m excited to bring 50 Cent Action to Pluto TV.
Building on the channel’s success, this is the next big step—and launching on my birthday makes it even bigger,” Jackson said in a statement to Billboard. “I’ve partnered with Lionsgate to deliver nonstop, high-powered entertainment, and now even more fans can watch for free.”
The 50 Cent Action channel originally launched as a FAST channel on The Roku Channel in December and quickly became the platform’s top action offering. It is also available on platforms such as Prime Video, Plex, DirecTV, Vizio, LG Channels, and Xumo.
While U.S. viewers can access the channel for free on Pluto TV, fans in the United Kingdom must pay £3.99 ($5.43) per month to access it as a Prime Video add-on, with a seven-day free trial available. “Being able to launch out here [in the UK] is big because I have a huge audience here that hasn’t been able to participate with us,” Jackson said.
