Ja Rule Criticizes 50 Cent Following Negative Review of Vegas Show

Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, the rapper and executive producer of “Power,” recently began a Las Vegas residency that has quickly stirred controversy.
Following his opening night at Planet Hollywood’s PH Live, 50 Cent faced harsh criticism from influencer Jen G., who described the performance as the “worst live performance” she had ever seen.
Jen G., who boasts a million followers on Instagram, shared her disappointment on social media, critiquing everything from the sound and stage design to the visuals, marking a stark departure from the energetic shows she recalled from Jackson’s earlier career in Memphis.
Her review quickly attracted attention online, including from Jackson’s long-standing rival, Ja Rule. The “Holla Holla” rapper took to X (formerly Twitter) to comment on the critique, sarcastically noting, “Not the worst… #ICONN.”
This latest exchange hints at a revival of the notorious feud between 50 Cent and Ja Rule, which dominated headlines in the late 1990s.
The rivalry flared again just before the new year when Ja Rule responded to a user on X who brought up a longstanding rumor that 50 Cent had once purchased front-row tickets to Ja Rule’s show to make it appear underattended.
Ja Rule dismissed the claim as false and offered a $10,000 reward to anyone who could provide evidence of such an incident.
50 Cent’s residency at PH Live is scheduled to continue through January 6. Meanwhile, Ja Rule was recently spotted performing alongside Doug E. Fresh, Fat Joe, and DJ Cassidy at the New Year’s Rockin’ Eve event.
In related news, Ja Rule also made headlines for his charitable efforts, co-hosting a luncheon with Sei Less for New York City mothers affected by the criminal justice system.
