50 Cent Jackson Launches G-Unit Studios in Shreveport, Louisiana

Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, the executive of Power Universe, is making waves in the entertainment industry with his latest venture, G-Unit Studios, located in Shreveport, Louisiana.
The rapper and television producer offered a sneak peek of the facility on his Instagram account on May 30, promising a grand opening in August.
Jackson’s Instagram post hinted at the studio’s interior, teasing fans with the caption, “Sneak peek at the insides of G-Unit Studios, shh I’m working. All roads lead to Shreveport August 8th till the 11th hold the date.”
The city of Shreveport has embraced Jackson’s venture, declaring April 18 as Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson Day.
The “Get Rich Or Die Tryin’” artist was welcomed by Mayor Tom Arceneaux and City Council members to celebrate the upcoming opening of G-Unit Film & Television Studio.
In recognition of his contributions, Jackson was presented with a key to the city.
According to Fox 8 Live, Jackson secured a lease for the city-owned studio, formerly known as Millennium Studios, at an annual cost of $2,400.
The city council unanimously approved the lease, and Jackson agreed to oversee the building’s maintenance.
The lease spans 30 years, with an option to renew for an additional 15 years.
In a statement to Billboard, Jackson expressed his vision for G-Unit Studios. “G-Unit has always been more than just entertainment; it’s a platform for voices that need to be heard, stories that need to be told,” he said.
“Bringing G-Unit Studios to Shreveport is not just a business decision; it’s a commitment to fostering talent, creating opportunities, and building a community that thrives through creativity and innovation.
