Kenya Moore, a cast member of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” faces suspension from the show. Entertainment Tonight reported that she was penalized for displaying inappropriate images of fellow cast member Brittany Eady during the debut event of her business, Kenya Moore Hair Spa.
“Kenya was suspended for allegedly depicting Brittany performing a sexual act at the grand opening of her Kenya Moore Hair Spa in Atlanta, from images allegedly found online,” the network said in a statement, per ET Online. “The network is still reviewing the content Kenya displayed during filming.”
This incident occurred while filming the reality show on June 6. The network responsible for the show stated that it is currently reviewing the situation.
Despite the controversy, Moore received a wave of support from her co-stars during a live broadcast on Instagram.
“The way that people go out of their way to disparage your name or ruin your business, I’ll never understand it,” Moore said. “Leave me alone. I’m a single mom. I’m out here just like anybody else. I am not getting child support, I’m not getting anything. I’m taking care of my daughter on my own.”
Drew Sidora and Porsha Williams were among those showing solidarity, with Williams calling Moore a “queen” and expressing their collective support.
Other co-stars, including Shamea Morton and Angela Oakley, also participated, although Kelli Ferrell was present but did not comment.
Moore, facing public criticism, reached out to her followers on Instagram to discuss the challenges she’s enduring and her continued aspirations as a business owner.
“I stay winning, you know?” she said. “It is in my blood. Success matriculates around me. So, I accept that. God has given me that, but I also give back as much as I possibly can.”
She emphasized her struggles as a single mother, managing both her business and parental responsibilities without external financial support.
