Supreme Court Helps Biden by Granting Trump Immunity

Recently, the U.S. Supreme Court made a big decision that changed how much protection a president gets while in office. This decision could keep a president from being held responsible for things they did while working as president. 

Trump was quick to welcome the ruling. “BIG WIN FOR OUR CONSTITUTION AND DEMOCRACY. PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN,” the former president wrote in a social media post.

Although this was about former President Donald Trump, it also affects President Joe Biden, especially at a time when some people are doubting if he should be the Democratic candidate again because of his recent debate performance.

After a disappointing debate, there was a lot of talk among Democrats about whether Biden should continue as their candidate. This court decision shifted the focus away from that debate and onto bigger issues like the powers of a president and how they should be controlled.

The Supreme Court’s decision suggests that Trump might not face consequences for some of his actions while he was president. This has restarted discussions on how much power a president should have and what it means for our democracy.

The Supreme Court has become consumed by a corruption crisis beyond its control.

Today’s ruling represents an assault on American democracy. It is up to Congress to defend our nation from this authoritarian capture.

Biden’s campaign quickly responded by saying this ruling is a threat to democracy. They argued that it shows Trump could misuse his power if he were president again. 

Biden’s team is trying to use this situation to show why it’s dangerous to let Trump be president again, saying he could act like a ruler who doesn’t follow the rules.

Trump is currently dealing with several legal problems, including charges in New York and other places for things he did during and after his presidency. His lawyers might use this new court decision to defend him, saying what he did was part of his job as president.

In response to the Supreme Court ruling, Biden stressed that in America, no one is above the law, not even the president. He worries that the court’s decision might lead to a future where a president can do whatever they want without consequences. 

Biden talked about this because he wants to show he stands for fairness and the rules that keep our country safe.
