A case has emerged in Milwaukee, where 33-year-old Maxwell Anderson stands accused of crimes that led to the tragic demise of 19-year-old Sade Robinson.
In a joint announcement by Milwaukee County Sheriff Denita Ball and Milwaukee Police Chief Jeffrey Norman, Anderson now faces serious charges that could alter the course of his life.
The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s office has leveled the following charges against Anderson:
- First-Degree Intentional Homicide: If convicted, this charge carries a sentence of life imprisonment.
- Mutilating a Corpse: This offense could result in substantial fines and over a decade behind bars.
- Arson of Property Other Than Building: A conviction here could lead to fines of up to $10,000 and three-and-a-half years of incarceration.
According to the criminal complaint, Anderson allegedly intentionally killed Robinson, then went to gruesome lengths to cover up the evidence.
The preliminary DNA analysis strongly links partial human remains discovered in Warnimont Park, Cudahy, on April 2 to the victim.
Robinson, a college student from Wisconsin, had been reported missing earlier this month after failing to show up for her shift at a local pizza restaurant.
Concerns among her co-workers escalated as days passed without any sign of her. Tragically, the circumstances surrounding her death unfolded after a first date with Anderson.
During the investigation, authorities recovered Sade Robinson clothing and her presumed phone from the burned vehicle.
Additionally, a human leg washed ashore in a Milwaukee suburb, with DNA evidence confirming its connection to the victim.
Subsequent searches yielded more remains, including her foot.
Crucially, location data from Robinson’s phone revealed Anderson’s movements alongside hers, ultimately leading investigators to the site where her body parts were discovered.
In the aftermath of this heart-wrenching loss, a GoFundMe campaign has been established to cover funeral expenses for Sade Robinson.
