Dawn Richard Denies Que’s Drugging Allegations Amid Diddy Fallout

Share

Singer Dawn Richard is strongly denying allegations made by her ex-boyfriend and fellow Bad Boy Records artist, Que Mosley, who claims she drugged him under the direction of music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.

In a now-deleted post on X (formerly Twitter), Richard addressed the claims, which were made during Que’s appearance on the Do You Believe Me Now? podcast hosted by Aubrey O’Day. Richard categorically denied the accusation, calling it “unequivocally false.”

“I want to be unequivocally clear: I have never drugged anyone, nor have I ever given anyone pills to take,” she wrote in a statement reposted by Onsite.

Richard also questioned the logic of Que’s allegations, pointing out that their romantic relationship continued well after the incident he described.

“If such a belief were genuine,” she wrote, “it would be inconsistent with the actions that followed—like inviting me into your home, introducing me to your family, and continuing a relationship.”

Still, Richard’s statement has sparked backlash online, with critics pointing to her recent testimony against Diddy in an unrelated court case as reason to challenge her credibility. “Her response makes no sense,” one user wrote. “She testified about watching Diddy abuse Cassie, yet stayed working with him.”

The Allegation

Que, a former member of Day26, claimed on social media that Richard gave him what he believes was a horse tranquilizer, triggering a psychological episode he says took time to recover from.

“Whatever ritual, spell, or manipulation that pill carried, it hijacked my autonomy,” Que wrote in a lengthy Instagram post. “I truly believed it was orchestrated by her boss—a display of power meant to destabilize a ‘weak’ mind and instill fear.”

His statement echoes broader allegations of abuse and coercion surrounding Diddy, who is currently facing federal charges related to sex trafficking and racketeering.

Richard, who once stayed silent about her breakup with Que, said she decided to speak out now due to the seriousness of the allegations. She urged the public to focus on healing and truth as more victims come forward in cases tied to Diddy.

“This isn’t about one person,” she wrote. “My intention has always been to move forward with integrity.”

As the federal case against Diddy unfolds, public scrutiny continues to intensify—not just on the mogul himself, but also on those who were closely associated with him during his career.
