Angel Reese Pays Tribute to Baltimore With New Reebok Sneaker Release

Reebok and WNBA star Angel Reese are set to expand their collaboration with the release of a new sneaker paying tribute to the city of Baltimore and its NFL team, the Ravens.

The Reebok Angel Reese 1 will officially debut on September 18 in three colorways, Diamond Dust, Receipts Ready, and Mebounds. On Wednesday, Reese revealed a fourth design, “Charm City,” which she wore during a recent game against the Connecticut Sun. The Baltimore-inspired sneaker, retailing at $120, will be available in October.

“This one’s for Charm City, to honor my roots and the community of Baltimore that has backed me from day one,” Reese said. “This city gave me my grit and made me who I am today.”

The purple-and-black color scheme is a nod to the Ravens, Baltimore’s beloved NFL franchise.

Beyond the court, Reese has been actively giving back to the communities she represents. On August 16, she partnered with Reebok and her nonprofit, the Angel C. Reese Foundation, to host a back-to-school event in Chicago. More than 2,000 students received Reebok backpacks filled with supplies, alongside music, food, and community festivities.

Despite battling injuries and missing games this season, the second-year Chicago Sky forward continues to break records. Reese recently tied Tina Charles for the fastest player in WNBA history to notch 45 career double-doubles, reaching the milestone in just 60 games, eight fewer than Charles needed in 2011.

She is currently tied with Alyssa Thomas and A’ja Wilson for the league lead in double-doubles this season.

The upcoming “Charm City” release highlights Reese’s growing influence both in sports and culture, as she continues to merge her hometown pride with her rising stardom on and off the court.
