Claudienne Hibbert-Smith wins NAREB Top Teams Award with $377m Sales Haul

Claudienne Hibbert-Smith, founder and CEO of TRU Real Estate Exchange Elite, has been honored by the National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB) with its Top Teams Award after her Miami-based group recorded $377 million in sales volume in 2024.

The recognition places Hibbert-Smith and her team among the nation’s elite and highlights their focus on expanding Black homeownership and real estate wealth.

In a statement, Hibbert-Smith framed the accolade as a community milestone as much as a business one. “Winning this award is about more than numbers — it’s about creating opportunities, building legacies, and proving that when we work together, we can transform entire communities.

I’m honored to stand on the shoulders of those who fought for democracy in housing, and I’m committed to carrying that mission forward through every deal, every agent, and every family we serve.”

According to TRU Real Estate Exchange Elite, the team’s 2024 success was anchored by four pillars: educating buyers and sellers on wealth building, widening access to grants and down-payment assistance, developing agents through training and mentorship, and driving homeownership in underserved neighborhoods.

Based in South Florida and powered by eXp Realty, TRU specializes in serving buyers, sellers, and investors while equipping agents with systems to scale production and long-term wealth.

Founded in 1947, NAREB, America’s oldest minority real-estate trade association, advocates “democracy in housing” and supports Black real-estate professionals. The organization continues to push for policies that expand Black homeownership and generational wealth.
