Drake Becomes First Artist in History with 10 Diamond-Certified Singles

Toronto-born superstar Drake has etched his name into the music history books once again, becoming the first artist ever to earn 10 Diamond-certified singles, according to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

The milestone was officially announced on May 28, with the RIAA celebrating the Grammy-winning rapper’s dominance in digital music sales.

The distinction marks 10 million units sold per single, and Drake now stands alone at the top, surpassing Garth Brooks and Post Malone, who each hold nine Diamond records.

The Songs That Made History

Drake’s latest additions to the Diamond club are fan favorites:

  • “Hold On, We’re Going Home” (2013)
  • “Best I Ever Had” (2009)

These tracks join his already impressive roster of 10-million sellers, which includes:

  • “God’s Plan”
  • “Hotline Bling”
  • “One Dance”
  • “Life Is Good” (with Future)
  • “Love Me” (with Lil Wayne)
  • “SICKO MODE” (with Travis Scott)
  • “No Guidance” (with Chris Brown)
  • “Work” (with Rihanna)

“Drake has the most RIAA Diamond Certifications of any artist, ever,” the association declared via Instagram, accompanied by a visual of his 10 Diamond plaques.

Drake could soon make it 11. His 2018 anthem “Nice for What”, off the chart-topping album Scorpion, is currently sitting at 9x Platinum, inching closer to Diamond status.

This latest record cements Drake as a trailblazer in hip-hop and pop music, with achievements that stretch far beyond sales alone. Since releasing his debut album Thank Me Later in 2010, every studio project he’s put out has reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

His 2016 album Views ruled the charts for 13 consecutive weeks, while 2021’s Certified Lover Boy made history with nine Top 10 singles, the most ever from one album.

Even in 2025, the momentum hasn’t slowed. His latest collaborative project, $ome $exy $ongs 4 U with PARTYNEXTDOOR, dropped in February and still has two tracks climbing the Billboard Hot 100:

  • Nokia” at No. 12
  • Somebody Loves Me” at No. 77
