Judge Warns Nicki Minaj Her $20M Hidden Hills Mansion Could Be Sold to Pay Unanswered $500K Judgment

A Los Angeles judge has signaled she may order the sale of Nicki Minaj’s $20 million Hidden Hills mansion to satisfy a $500,000 default judgment owed to a security guard who accused Minaj and her husband, Kenneth Petty, of assault.
According to Rolling Stone, Nicki Minaj has been given one final chance to comply. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Cindy Pánuco has scheduled a new hearing for Jan. 22, 2026, and is demanding documentation from Bank of America detailing how much Minaj has paid toward her $13.3 million mortgage. Once she receives that information, she said she will be prepared to move forward with a forced home sale.
“My tentative is to grant this,” Judge Pánuco said in court. “I just want to make sure we’re getting it right.”
Judgment Unpaid, Collection Efforts Unsuccessful
The judgment stems from a lawsuit filed by Thomas Weidenmüller, a security supervisor who alleges Petty punched him in the face—breaking his jaw—during Minaj’s 2019 concert in Frankfurt, Germany. Minaj allegedly escalated the confrontation by throwing a shoe at Weidenmüller, though it did not hit him.
Weidenmüller required eight surgeries to repair the injuries. After Nicki Minaj and Petty failed to appear in court, a judge entered a default judgment in March 2024, ordering the couple to pay $503,318.02.
However, Weidenmüller’s legal team says all attempts to collect the judgment have failed. Seven potential garnishees claimed they held no accounts payable to Minaj or failed to respond at all.
“There is no doubt that the sale of the dwelling would satisfy the entire judgment, with millions to spare,” his attorneys wrote. “This extraordinary measure is the product of her intransigence in not making payment.”
Mansion Now at Risk
If the judge grants the motion in January, Minaj’s luxury Hidden Hills home—located in the same gated community as several other high-profile entertainers—could be placed on the market to cover the unpaid judgment.
Neither Minaj nor Petty has publicly commented on the case, and they have yet to respond to the collection efforts in court.
With the next hearing only weeks away, the risk of a forced property sale looms large unless the superstar takes action.
