NBA icon LeBron James has teamed up with Swiss luxury watchmaker Richard Mille to unveil an exclusive timepiece, which the Los Angeles Lakers forward debuted at Fanatics Fest in New York. The collaboration marks the latest in a series of high-end ventures for the basketball star, who recently crossed billionaire status.

James showcased the watch on Instagram to his over 159 million followers, writing,
“Had to debut this special @richardmille piece we’ve been working on at Fanatics Fest for all y’all to see!! ✊🏾⌚️🔥 01/150!!! Thank you to the incredible team for the opportunity to bring this to life, the unbelievable details, storytelling, and purpose behind this watch.”

Only 150 units of the watch—officially titled the RM 65-01 Split-Seconds Chronograph LeBron James, have been produced. Priced at $405,040, the limited-edition model incorporates the signature purple and gold color scheme of the Lakers, along with James’ etched signature on the caseback, according to The Robb Report.

A high-performance timepiece designed for precision and durability, the RM 65-01 features a black Carbon TPT and yellow Quartz TPT case, a skeletonised dial with green indices, and LeBron’s logo displayed at the 12 o’clock position.

The watch includes split-seconds chronograph functionality, rapid winding, and a variable-geometry rotor, boasting a 60-hour power reserve and water resistance up to 50 meters.

This isn’t James’ first foray into luxury watch collaborations. In the past, he partnered with Audemars Piguet to release a bespoke version of the Royal Oak Offshore, blending athletic elegance with engineering excellence.

The Akron native’s watch debut follows another milestone, he was recently awarded an honorary Doctor of Public Service degree by Ohio State University for his philanthropic contributions and ongoing impact off the court.

With his latest venture, LeBron continues to merge his cultural influence with luxury innovation, further cementing his brand beyond basketball.
