Quavo Launches New UGA Apparel Line With Lids

The rapper, born Quavious Marshall, has teamed up with Lids to launch a new University of Georgia–themed apparel line, the Quavo UGA x ’47 Collection, officially unveiled on Nov. 14. The range is available at select Lids locations across Georgia, including Mall of Georgia, Cumberland Mall, Perimeter Mall, Lenox Square, and Southlake Mall, as well as online.

The collection features fitted caps, hoodies, T-shirts, and varsity jackets, blending collegiate branding with Quavo’s signature streetwear aesthetic. Lids says the collaboration is part of its push to grow beyond traditional sports merchandise and deepen its footprint in the lifestyle and athleisure space.

“Quavo is one of today’s most dynamic cultural voices,” said Adam Herstig, senior vice president of marketing and partnerships at Lids. “His influence in music, fashion, and sport makes him the perfect partner to help Lids continue pushing boundaries and setting trends in headwear and lifestyle.”

For Quavo, a member of the Grammy-nominated group Migos and founder of Huncho TV, the project is rooted in personal nostalgia. Speaking to Sports Illustrated, he described the collaboration as both a full-circle moment and a chance to build on momentum.

“It’s the second year, you know what I’m saying? Now we get some consistency going, and I just feel great. I’m excited. And doing something with Lids is a dream come true. I grew up wearing fitteds and getting fitteds on Christmas, so it’s only right that I put my swag and put my touch on it now, that I got the ball in my hands,” he said.

Beyond music, Quavo has been steadily expanding his footprint in fashion and business. Through his Huncho Club clothing label and other capsule collaborations, he’s worked with streetwear brands and ventured into tech investments.

Data suggests that star power like his matters. A Streetwear Impact Report by Hypebeast found that hip-hop and rap heavily shape consumer trends, and 65% of respondents view musicians as the most credible voices in promoting apparel.

Early signs indicate the Quavo UGA x ’47 Collection is resonating with fans. Within hours of the launch, several “limited release” items sold out in online drops, signaling strong demand at the intersection of college fandom, culture, and fashion.
