Megan Thee Stallion Introduces New Premium Tequila, Chicas Divertidas

Grammy-winning artist Megan Thee Stallion, known as the “Cognac Queen,” has ventured into the spirits industry with the launch of her own premium tequila brand, Chicas Divertidas. The tequila, introduced in celebration of her 30th birthday earlier this month, is available in both blanco and reposado varieties.
Chicas Divertidas is crafted from 100% Blue Weber agave sourced from the red volcanic highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. The tequila is distilled at Casa Centinelam, a distillery with a tradition dating back to 1904, where the unique volcanic soil and cooler climate contribute to a naturally sweeter agave.
The tequila’s packaging is as vibrant as its origin, featuring a bottle inspired by the Angel’s Trumpet flower. The design includes cuts and grooves that mimic the agave plant, with gradient hues of orange, pink, red, and purple. Topping the bottle is a dagger-pierced heart, symbolizing the brand’s commitment to remaining cute, classy, and cut-throat.
Megan expressed her enthusiasm for her new venture, stating, “As someone who values good vibes and great memories, I wanted to create a tequila that was made to be shared and savored with my Hotties.
This process has been years in the making, and I am thrilled to step into my role as an entrepreneur with this launch. I’m excited for everyone to experience this labor of love and to kick off their CHICAS ERA!”
The idea to start her own tequila brand was inspired by Beyoncé, Megan revealed during a panel at ADWEEK’s Social Media Week and further discussed in a Club Shay Shay interview with Shannon Sharpe. She recounted Beyoncé’s encouragement to launch her own alcohol brand, prompting her to transition from promoting other brands’ spirits to establishing her own.
Chicas Divertidas Blanco and Reposado are available in 750ml bottles with a 40% alcohol by volume. The tequila can be pre-ordered through the official website, where fans can also view Megan Thee Stallion’s brand introduction video, inviting all to join in celebrating this new chapter of her career.
