50 Cent Expands Global Media Empire with UK Launch of Action Channel on Prime Video

Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson is extending his media footprint beyond the United States with the launch of his 50 Cent Action channel in the United Kingdom. The channel is now available as a Prime Video add-on for £3.99 per month, with a seven-day free trial for new users.
The move marks a strategic international expansion for the rapper-turned-TV executive, whose transition from hip-hop icon to media mogul continues to gather momentum.
According to Deadline, the UK rollout follows the channel’s initial success as a Free Ad-Supported Streaming Television (FAST) offering on The Roku Channel in the U.S., where it debuted on December 10, 2023.
“My core audience—the people that were enjoying my music in the very beginning—is at home,” Jackson told Deadline. “They’re older. They’ll understand the entertainment choices that I make creatively. I’ve used music to merge with entertainment.”
The 50 Cent Action channel is a curated hub of high-energy programming selected by Jackson himself. Titles include action films, gritty dramas, and thrillers that align with the brand he has built over decades, first in music, and more recently through television hits like Power, BMF, and For Life.
The project is part of a growing partnership with Lionsgate, a collaboration that has proven commercially successful. As of April 2025, 50 Cent Action was ranked as the top-performing action channel on The Roku Channel and LG Channels. The channel has also expanded to platforms including Plex, DirecTV, Vizio, Xumo, and now Prime Video in the UK.
What sets Jackson’s offering apart, he says, is its branding and focus.
“I don’t think they’ve figured out how to market the FAST channels,” he explained. “They just package portions of their content, put it up, and let it roll, instead of trying to figure out a whole brand, a whole vibe. I want my FAST channel to feel like a cable network.”
While U.S. audiences can access the channel for free on FAST platforms, the UK version is positioned as a premium subscription option. Jackson emphasized the significance of launching in the UK, where he has long maintained a loyal fanbase.
“Being able to launch out here [in the UK] is big because I have a huge audience here that hasn’t been able to participate with us,” he said. “Now they get a chance to see it.”
