April Lampros Files Sexual Assault Lawsuit Against Diddy

Diddy, is facing another severe claim in a lawsuit brought by April Lampros, a former Fashion Institute of Technology student who first met Combs in 1994.

The complaint, filed on Thursday in New York and obtained by CNN, accuses Combs of many incidents of sexual assault spanning the mid-1990s to the early 2000s.

Lampros’ court lawsuit makes four different charges against Combs, including abuse, assault, negligent infliction of mental distress, and a breach of the legislation protecting victims of gender-motivated violence.

Although the complaint is pending investigation by the county clerk, the specifics paint a worrisome picture of Combs’ alleged actions.

“I’m confident that justice will prevail and the veil will be removed so no other woman will have to endure what I did,” April Lampros stated to CNN.

The legal filing recounts disturbing interactions, starting with an alleged incident in 1995 where Combs is said to have coerced Lampros into drinking at a New York City bar, subsequently assaulting her in a hotel.

Other accusations include a forcible encounter in a parking garage and a night where Lampros was allegedly coerced into drug use and sexual acts at Combs’ apartment.

Lampros’ statement emphasizes a pattern of coercion and abuse, stating that Combs developed a “mobster persona” that left her in constant fear.

The lawsuit also includes claims of Combs recording their encounters without Lampros’ consent and threatening to ruin her career aspirations in the fashion and music industries.

Also named in the suit are Combs’ companies, Bad Boy Records, Arista Records, and Sony Music Entertainment, with the complaint alleging that these entities enabled Combs’ abusive behavior.

CNN has reached out to representatives for Combs, as well as the named record labels, for comment.

This lawsuit adds to a growing list of legal challenges for Combs, marking the eighth since November, with the majority also involving accusations of sexual assault.

This includes a recent settlement with his former girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, and allegations involving his son, Christian Combs.

The case unfolds amidst broader scrutiny of Combs, who is currently under a federal investigation by the Department of Homeland Security for issues related to human trafficking crimes.

Combs’ attorney, Aaron Dyer, insists on his client’s innocence, stating, “Mr. Combs is innocent and will continue to fight every single day to clear his name.”

This story is developing and will be updated as more information becomes available.
