On November 5, Donald Trump was elected to his second term as President of the United States, sparking excitement among his supporters and major public figures. Elon Musk and Joe Rogan were among those who shared their support online.
Musk, the billionaire behind companies like Tesla and owner of the social media platform X, quickly shared his optimism for Trump’s future term. Musk, who often backs Trump’s ideas, wrote about the challenges he’s faced as an immigrant from South Africa. However, he said these struggles are small compared to what Trump has gone through in politics.
Joe Rogan, popular host of The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, also showed his excitement on X. He posted a video of Trump and his family on stage, adding a short and amazed reaction:
“Whole. Lee. Sh*t.” Rogan, who has openly supported Trump before, recently spoke with Musk on his podcast, calling Musk “the great and powerful” and agreeing with his reasons for backing Trump.
Rogan’s views are often right-leaning, and this election season he hosted Trump on his show to discuss his plans for the country. Rogan wanted to interview Vice President Kamala Harris as well but couldn’t meet the conditions her team requested.
They offered to meet for an hour if Rogan traveled to her, but he preferred a longer talk in his Austin studio.
“They didn’t turn down the podcast, but they wanted me to go to her and only do an hour. I really believe the best way is to do it in the studio here. I’d love a real conversation to get to know her,” Rogan explained.
With Trump’s second term underway, he continues to have strong support from Musk, Rogan, and others eager to see what he’ll accomplish next.
