Jodie Turner-Smith made a striking entrance at the 2024 Met Gala, embracing the evening’s “Garden of Time” dress code with an all-white Burberry ensemble.

The actress, known for her role in Murder Mystery 2, wore a white tulle dress with ivory silk organza feather flowers, layered over a crystal pearl-embellished mesh underdress.

The dress featured a bold plunging neckline, which Turner-Smith complemented with a large cross necklace.

Jodie Turner-Smith debuted white-blonde hair for the night, and her glamorous look was crafted by makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury.

She sported a dramatic smoky eye and dewy cheeks, along with glossy lips, all in neutral tones that complemented her outfit.

This year’s Met Gala was a different experience for Turner-Smith, who filed for divorce from her husband, actor Joshua Jackson, in October.

In February, she discussed the end of their marriage with The Times, emphasizing the importance of prioritizing the well-being of herself and their daughter, Juno.

Despite the changes in her personal life, Turner-Smith appeared confident and poised as she walked the red carpet. Her previous Met Gala appearance was in 2022 for the “In America: An Anthology of Fashion” event, where she attended with Jackson.

“When I was doing the Met Gala for the first time, I remember thinking, ‘Oh my God, I don’t ever want to do this.’ I didn’t feel good,” she said of the 2022 gala. “I was not feeling the vibe.”

“I remember there was this moment where my husband just took me by the hand and said, ‘You deserve to be here,'” she added.

At that time, she described their looks as an “old-fashioned interpretation of evening wear” and expressed some initial nerves about the event.

Now, with newfound confidence and a fresh start, Turner-Smith embraced the night with her standout Burberry look, marking a memorable return to the Met Gala.
