Tia Mowry Opens Up: From Divorce to Dating, New Reality Series Chronicles Her Journey

Tia Mowry steps into the spotlight as a newly single mother of two, as she documents her journey in an upcoming reality series.

Dubbed “Tia Mowry: My Next Chapter,” the show is slated to debut on WeTV, marking Mowry’s solo venture into the reality TV realm following her previous collaboration with twin sister, Tamera Mowry-Housley, on The Style Network’s “Tia & Tamera.”

Announced during AMC Networks’ 2024 Upfronts Presentation in New York City on Thursday, April 11, the series promises an intimate look into Mowry’s life as she navigates the complexities of co-parenting with ex-husband Cory Hardrict while juggling her career and personal growth.

Taking to Instagram following the announcement, Mowry, 45, expressed gratitude for her supportive community and teased fans about what to expect from the show, hinting at candid portrayals of both triumphs and challenges.

“Recently, I’ve been reclaiming my power,” she shared. “I’m eager to share all aspects of my life— the highs, the lows, the victories, and the struggles.”

Mowry outlined some of the show’s focal points, including her foray into the dating scene, her entrepreneurial pursuits, her journey through motherhood, and her quest to rediscover independence post-divorce.

“I’m embracing this new chapter with open arms, ready to explore what makes me truly happy,” she declared.

The “Sister Sister” alum finalized her divorce from Hardrict in April 2023 after a 14-year marriage, with the process taking six months following their separation announcement in October 2022. Together, they share two children, a 12-year-old son, Cree, and a 5-year-old daughter, Cairo.

Despite their split, Mowry and Hardrict maintain an amicable co-parenting relationship, as evidenced by their recent friendly encounter at Essence Black Women in Hollywood and their joint celebration of Thanksgiving with their children.
