Claressa Shields Puts Up $100K Challenge to Any Woman Brave Enough to Fight Her

Boxing champion Claressa Shields isn’t backing down from a fight, inside or outside the ring. At the recent BET Awards, the self-proclaimed “G.W.O.A.T.” (Greatest Woman of All Time) issued an open challenge during an interview with Hollywood Unlocked, offering $100,000 to any woman who believes they can defeat her in a physical showdown.

The undefeated boxing star was responding to a question about Baddies reality TV personality Tesehki, who had apparently expressed interest in facing Claressa Shields. But Shields didn’t stop there, she made it clear the challenge extended far beyond one reality star.

“This is how a call-out works. You call me out, and I say yes. We scrap,” Shields said. “That’s how we do it in my hood. It’s free smoke—anytime, anywhere.”

With the confidence of a reigning champion, Claressa Shields doubled down on her challenge:
“Street fighter, boxer, MMA, doesn’t matter. If you can beat me, I’ve got $100,000 waiting. I wish I had it on me so I could slam it on the table, but trust me, I got it. And I just don’t see it happening.”

Shields also took to X (formerly Twitter) to clear up any rumors that she and Tesehki had crossed paths at the awards ceremony, writing:
“Let’s set the record straight: I never ran into Tesehki at the BET Awards.”

With a spotless 16-0 professional record, Claressa Shields has already made history as the first-ever undisputed women’s heavyweight boxing champion. She was also nominated for BET’s Sportswoman of the Year award, further cementing her legacy both in and out of the ring.

If anyone’s bold enough to take her up on the offer, they’d better come prepared, not just for the fight, but for the fire.
