Beyoncé Endorses Wilglory Tanjong's Anima Iris Handbags

Beyoncé once again showered praise on Wilglory Tanjong’s luxury handbag brand, Anima Iris. She recently took to Instagram to showcase one of Tanjong’s exquisite creations, effortlessly integrating it into her Coachella ensemble.

Sporting the accessory with confidence, Beyoncé posed elegantly in several Instagram photos, capturing the attention of fans and fashion enthusiasts alike. Tanjong, the visionary behind the brand, ecstatically shared the moment on Anima Iris’ Instagram, declaring, “ANIMA IRIS IS BEYONCÉ APPROVED… AGAIN!!”

Accompanied by reposts of Beyoncé flaunting the handbag, Tanjong’s announcement reverberated across social media platforms, igniting excitement among admirers of her work.

The handcrafted bag, specially designed for Beyoncé, perfectly complemented her casual yet chic attire, featuring a Willie Nelson T-shirt, denim shorts, and statement American flag-printed platform boots and jacket.

In a gesture that delighted fans, Tanjong revealed on May 8 that the coveted handbag would be available for purchase. “I know y’all will ask, so YES, I’m releasing the bag we made just for Bey, and I’m naming it the Cowboy Carter ZAZA,” she revealed, further fueling anticipation among eager customers.

Tanjong’s foray into the luxury handbag market has been nothing short of remarkable. Since the launch of her handbag collection in 2020, she has captivated the attention of thousands of social media users and fashion aficionados.

Amid pursuing her MBA in 2022, Tanjong’s brand experienced exponential growth, with monthly earnings surpassing $100,000 and projected to exceed $5 million by 2023, as noted by BLACK ENTERPRISE.

Speaking to CNBC, Tanjong underscored her mission to address the longstanding gap in the luxury market, particularly for women of color.

“Women of color, and specifically Black women, have always been excluded from the luxury narrative,” she explained. “Building a brand that centers these women while also bringing forth African culture into the global landscape was like a bingo moment for me.”

Tanjong emphasized the transformative power of representation and inclusivity in the industry. “For so long, Black people have really defined the culture in America, but I’ve never actually gotten to reap the benefits of it,” she shared.

“It’s so wonderful to see so many Black creators finally being able to build their businesses and grow and for people to have other options outside of the options we’ve typically had that actually have excluded us.”
