Jaguar Wright Arrested for Theft, Claims “No Charge” Exists

Jaguar Wright, a controversial singer known for her outspoken interviews, was arrested in Dallas on June 6. During an online interview, she claimed there was “no charge” for her arrest, according to Vibe.

Jaguar Wright was taken into police custody for property theft valued between $30,000 and $150,000. She was released on June 7 after posting a $10,000 bond. The arrest stemmed from an outstanding warrant related to a U-Haul truck she allegedly rented and failed to return.

In an interview on the Sean Davie Way show on YouTube, Wright stated, “Whatever they’re saying it is, it’s not. They can’t hold me, there’s no charge.” She suggested that her recent arrest was linked to her controversial interviews.

Wright blamed YouTuber Tasha K for her arrest. However, Tasha K denied any involvement, saying, “Jaguar is always looking for someone to blame. I had nothing to do with her not returning that U-Haul. She needs to take responsibility for her actions instead of trying to drag others down with her.”

Tasha K further claimed that Wright is a diagnosed schizophrenic, which Wright has not publicly confirmed.

Recent Controversies

Wright has made headlines for her claims against high-profile figures like Diddy, Jay-Z, and Common. Earlier this year, she was arrested following a domestic dispute where her husband alleged she threw their late son’s ashes out of a car window.

In 2020, according to HipHopDX, Wright accused the rapper Common of trying to sexually assault her in the past. Common denied these accusations, saying, “God bless, Jaguar. I don’t have any negative thoughts toward her, but I was disappointed and hurt by what she said because it wasn’t true. I take sexual assault very seriously, and it’s not something to lie about.”

In 2023, Black Enterprise reported that Wright was arrested after a violent argument at home. Her husband said that she and a friend named Solar, who were both drunk, assaulted him and even threw their son’s ashes out of a car window.
