Mike Tyson Talks Showdown with Jake Paul: "More Than Just an Exhibition

Former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson is ready to step back into the ring, this time facing off against YouTube sensation Jake Paul in what promises to be a highly anticipated match-up.

Tyson recently appeared on Fox News to provide insights into what fans can expect when he squares off against the controversial social media star this summer.

While the bout has been dubbed an “exhibition,” Tyson clarified that it will be far from a mere showcase. “This is called an exhibition,” Mike Tyson stated, “But if you look up exhibition, you will not see any of the laws that we are fighting under. This is a fight.”

Dispelling any notion of underestimating his opponent, Tyson asserted, “I don’t think he’s faster than me… This guy’s gonna come, he’s gonna try to hurt me, which I’m accustomed to, and he’s gonna be greatly mistaken.”

Despite acknowledging feeling nervous, even admitting to being “scared to death” at present, Tyson expressed confidence that his apprehension will diminish as the fight date draws near.

“Right now, I’m scared to death, but as the fight gets closer, the less nervous I become because this is reality, and in reality, I’m invincible.”

In a surprising turn, Mike Tyson revealed that despite their upcoming clash, he harbors no ill will towards Paul. “No. I do not have no grudges against him he’s beautiful, and no, it’s not from that perspective.”

Scheduled to stream live on Netflix on July 20, the event is being promoted in collaboration with Most Valuable Promotions (MVP).

The showdown between the 57-year-old Mike Tyson and the 27-year-old Paul is set to take place at the iconic AT&T Stadium, the home of the Dallas Cowboys, boasting a staggering capacity of 80,000 spectators.

With Mike Tyson boasting an impressive record of 50 wins and 6 losses, and Paul, self-dubbed as “The Problem Child,” holding a record of 9 – 1, this clash of generations promises to be a spectacle not to be missed.
